Village pump?[edit source]

I realize the hazards of having a literal village pump right now, because I learned all about the Broadwick street pump when I was editing the cholera-related articles on English Wikipedia (enwiki). But User:Harej, I think having a central watering hole linked to in the left nav of this site would help old-timers like me. Also, while I'm here, it would make articles a lot more portable to/from enwiki if Interwiki links worked, so that we could link to w:1854 Broad Street cholera outbreak instead of . Is that doable? -- RobLa (talk) 22:20, 22 March 2020 (UTC)

Breadth of site?[edit source]

I'm an inexperienced editor, and I want to double-check how broad-ranging you envision this wiki to be. I assume that I can add info about the various kinds of efforts that have arisen to assist people (e.g., local efforts like food assistance, mutual aid groups, and groups organizing to sew face masks, and national efforts like volunteer tele-counseling sessions for healthcare workers), but would it also be appropriate to add links to local resources themselves -- say, by creating county pages -- so that people looking for local assistance or a local place to volunteer would be able to look here to help them find that info? Thanks.

FWIW, when I tried posting the above, I included a link, and when I attempted to save the change, I got a message to use a captcha to confirm that I wasn't a bot. I completed that, but it still wouldn't let me save it, so I deleted the link and saved. Is this a glitch? FactOrOpinion (talk) 00:50, 11 April 2020 (UTC)
